Legal

The land is titled under Thai law as Nor Sor Saam Kor and is owned by Clipperton Co., Limited, a Thai registered company.
There are two components to the question of ownership: land and house.

Land:

As foreign nationals cannot own freehold land under current Thai law, land will be leased for terms of 30 years, plus two additional prepaid extensions of 30 years each, for a total of 90 years. The initial lease is registered with the Lands Department and noted on the land title deeds, thereby protecting you under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.

House:

A foreign national may own buildings or property developed on land leased by him. Therefore you can own your own home.
